FAQ
- Do I need to be a member to attend?
- Everyone is welcome. Entry is free for MNTS members — an Individual, Family, or Student membership pays for itself here.
- How does my child perform at Sangamam?
- Membership is mandatory for stage participation, and performers under 18 must be covered by a Family membership. Watch the newsletter and the member portal for the call for performers.
- Where is it held?
- The venue rotates between Twin Cities school auditoriums — Hopkins High School in Minnetonka for 2027, Wayzata Central Middle School in Plymouth in 2026, and Hopkins High School in 2025. This year's date and venue are at the top of this page.
- Why January and February?
- January is Tamil Language and Heritage Month in Minnesota — recognized permanently by a resolution of the State Senate — and Sangamam anchors the celebration alongside Pongal.
